Iron deficiency anemia
The iron-deficiency anemia indicates the deficiency of iron in the body which results in fatigue, low energy levels, weakness, pale skin and tongue, shortness of breath especially while climbing stairs, dizziness, change in appetite, etc.
Causes-
1. Worms
2. Bleeding
3. Giardiasis (fever due to diarrheal infection of small intestine)
4. Mal-absorption due to gastro-intestinam diseases or due to lack of digestive acid or Hydro Chloric Acid (perenicious anemia)
5. Low production of RBC due to defect in bone marrow
6. Excessive destruction of RBC
7. Nutritional deficiency: Inadequate iron, protein and vitamins
